During the July 11 Town Hall at 3:00 p.m. (ET), KHA will launch the “Knowing My Hospital” initiative.

This initiative is an effort by KHA to work with your hospital team to plan strategic visits with policy makers in your facilities. Hosting legislators, congressmen, and other leaders at Kentucky’s hospitals is a great opportunity to let elected officials see firsthand how their work in Frankfort and Washington, DC, impacts their local communities. Many hospitals already welcome key officials to visit, tour, and meet with staff; however, by coordinating with the KHA policy team, your event can tie conversations to advocacy efforts underway in the state’s and nation’s capitols.

During this KHA Town Hall, learn how to host a “Knowing My Hospital” event, which can include (but would not be limited to) a town hall with available hospital staff and the legislator/policy leader, a roundtable table discussion with key hospital and community leadership, and/or a tour of the facility or special project/initiative of the hospital.

Be sure to invite your leadership team and your public relations and marketing team to this Town Hall, so you can prepare for an event in your facility/facilities!
