Please join KHA on Tuesday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m. ET for a virtual Town Hall meeting on the topic of Implicit Bias, Macroaggressions, and Systemic Racism in Healthcare.

Many individuals pursue a career in healthcare because of an altruistic mission to serve others.  However, healthcare is often cited as one of the most discriminatory institutions in the United States.  During this presentation, we will discuss the various avenues through which systemic racism penetrates healthcare and leads to healthcare inequities and disparities, including the presence of implicit bias, practice of race-based medicine, and lack of representation.
