On Tuesday, January 10 at 3:00pm ET, KHA will host Dr. Christina Cordero with The Joint Commission to discuss the new hospital accreditation requirements to reduce health care disparities.

Effective January 1, 2023, new and revised requirements to reduce health care disparities will apply to organizations in the Joint Commission’s critical access hospital and hospital accreditation programs. This presentation will review the link between quality and health equity and discuss these new accreditation standards in detail. All eligible organizations will be surveyed to these standards beginning January 1, 2023.
